do not use lithium grease, it's not good for the bushings.
Synthetic and silicone greases are best.

Been reading a lot about this yesterday night

I had bad squeeking on my 01' MB C320 front suspension. I took it into the dealer and they replaced both left and right Ball joints and the Sway bar bushings because they said they got dry and were lose. The car had 80k miles on it. You might be able to get away with just greasing them.

In my installation instructions for my Hotchkis bars it says "for Maintenance, use the zerk fittings to grease the bushings at least once a year (15,000 miles) or when excessive noise occurs. Use a silicone based grease only! A lithium-based grease can wash out with water and should not be used."

I used Green Grease. Not sure if it is silicone based though but it is synthetic.

Yup. The lithium stuff is too thin and actually degrades the rubber/plastic parts.
