Impul springs for my X, which one do i need?

Hey everyone, so i am new to the G community but have been here lurking around anyway, i am currently going to purchase the IMPUL springs from japanparts.com for various reasons (mild even drop, not a very aggressive spring rate, no bouncy feel to the ride)

I have a '09 g37x, however, when i get to the japanparts.com site i see the following options:

-2WD sedan
-Coupe without 4WAS
-Coupe with 4WAS

I'm a little new to the G platform but it seems that the coupe/sedan springs are interchangeable, however, i still need to know which ones will give me an even fit (as in ddub's pix)

Do I select the 2WD sedan version for my X Sedan?

i'm just making sure that they didn't get rid of a 4WD sedan option.

Thanx all

there is no X specific version, for that matter, with any brand of springs. the RWD (2wd) springs fit on our X's, and that's what you want.

to answer your Q more direct, yes, you want the 2WD sedan version for your X sedan.

@nghiars, thanx but i looked through that before there are way too many pages to find what i was looking for.

with logic i just placed an order on 2WD Impuls. for those whoa are wondering with shipping to NJ it was $650.

Can't wait.

Look here...https://g35driver.com/forums/media-s...installed.html
IMPUL's part numbers are SF-76 & SR-76. I'm waiting mine for $570 per kit.

rockin' eibachs

i like them, it obviously performs much better, less body roll, more firm to the grund, etc. it can get a bit bouncy on bad roads but nothing major really. it's definitely stiffer, at times a kidney buster, but that's how i like my cars. i'll worry about comfort when i get arthritis or turn 70, whichever comes first.

I'm waiting for my friend to bring it from Japan. I'm from Moscow, so no riverside. And japanparts gives me about 650. So I think 570 is not so bad.

although the springs are not designed to work with the stock shocks, having such a mild drop should result in ride that's not as bouncy as other springs.
I'm a little nervous about this, because in the past every car that i dropped on springs was shortly switched to coilovers...
i'll wait and see

no coils for the x, stuck with springs for now, and looks like the wait will outlive the life of our cars at this rate.

as long as the car is drivable, i can live with it. I don't have a problem with a harsh suspension where i feel every bump, i only have an issue with the bouncy ride on the highway which can get quiet dangerous.

do you think the IMPULs will be close to stock ride quality? others seem to agree. if they only published their spring rates.

the tommy's might not give an even drop for the X, i haven't seen any pictures of these and i don't want to be the guinea pig.
