Afaik, there are no a/m 2pc rotors for the 2nd gen cars available outside of purchasing a kit. I don't think the racing brake models are releases yet

yeah & I'm running Stoptech which are lighter too, to a very minor degree.
If they are 0.25lbs lighter than OE i would be amazed.

correct.
2pc are still are listed on the RB site but still not into production.
I'll be running these ones until the Stoptech 2pc AeroRotors are available.

January is the latest word i got from RB. Judging by delays they and CZP are encountering, something must be amiss. RB was originally supposed to release theirs around the Thanksgiving holidays.

I've been wondering about this too; can anyone confirm (to a certainty) what the stock rotors weigh on the V36 sedans w/ Sport ? If I do decide to upgrade my rotors, I want to know (to a certainty) that, at the very least, they aren't any heavier. I tried calling around to a few dealership parts departments and asking them to weigh a rotor off the shelf . . . generally, they acted like I was asking for the second coming, so no luck there. I'd weigh my own, but that'll be too late, not until I've already R&Red them.

Anyone that did a BBK swap have a OEM sport rotor laying around that you could weigh (accurately) and report back?? Thanks guys!

Are you referring to the pre-Akebono V36 Sport rotors, or the Akebono OEM rotors? If it's the latter, i have a new one i can weigh.

Unless you found 2 piece rotors that fit under the stock calipers, you won't save much weight if any.

Yeah, sorry, I should have specified better. I am referring to the pre-Akebono sport rotors on the 07/08 Sport sedans and/or the non-Akebono rotors on the 08+ coupes w/o sport. (On a tangent, this brings up a question: Are the brakes/rotors on the 09+ G37 sedans w/o Sport, the same as the 07/08 sedans W/Sport? . . . essentially, just like it is with the coupes.)

btw, thanks for the offer to weigh a rotor. Too bad (for me) it's the wrong one.

Thanks, I do realize that (and no, I didn't find a two piece) and I wasn't even considering that I'd save much, if any; I just wanted to make sure, at a minimum, that I didn't ADD any weight since it looks like there are a few options for one-piece replacement rotors to choose from.
