Kuhmo ecsta Platinum issue
Kuhmo ecsta Platinum issue
I have a question about these tires. I noticed today that one of the tires is installed with the waffle pattern on the inside and the other three have the waffle tread pattern is on the outside. I have included a link to the tire so you know what I mean about waffle pattern. Which one of the tires is installed wrong? and does it really matter?
Just to let you know I went to Town Fair Tire in CT. This is not the first time I have had issues with them and highly discourage anyone from using them, as I will not ever use them again.

That means that the installers do not know how to do their jobs. The tires are asymmetrical, which mean (for those that don't know) that the tire has in outside and an inside. They mounted the tires Incorrectly, so the wet weather performance that you are suppose to get out of those tires you are not.
I took this directly off the link.
Outboard shoulder and intermediate tread block sipes terminate in stress relief dimples to help the sipe openings blend straight-line snow traction with lateral grip. Straight sipes are used for the middle blocks while waffle design sipes are used on the inboard intermediate and shoulder tread blocks to blend dry-road stability with all-season traction

So the only issue would be less than ideal perfrmance? Are there any more seious issues to worry about? I am in fl now and don't want to have to pay someone to fix them here. I would rather wait until I get back to ct and have those idiots fix their mistake
