g35 gt spec strut bar
G35 STRUT BAR -- GT SPEC
(I drive a black g35 sedan 2008)
is this part really necessary? my car is not lowered and i dont see much gain in having a strut bar if you're not racing / taking tighter corners i guess...
also i'm thinking of getting some headers...but i have stock exhaust and stillen gen 2 intake..slowly mod'ing my car...exhaust will come later because i'm a little short on money for the ones i want...anyways...will headers show any improvement in performance? or only louder sound?

OEM headers are quite good as is especially if "you're not racing" besides there are no 100% fitment headers for our cars yet, i believe even the impuls require some modifications as stated by Robby before and the stillen hit the steering rack.
FI might come out with a version soon from what i have been hearing.

Wait on the strut bar. I say get Hotchkis sways first to improve your handling..
I did notice my car stiffen up ever so slightly especially up front w/ the gt spec bar, but my next suspension mod is definitely going to be the sway bars and aftermarket struts/shocks. I've heard great things about em!

Unless you're spending at least an entire day doing the install yourself (with a lot of help from a friend), you can't afford headers if you can't even afford to buy an exhaust.
Strut bars only look good unless you have the rest of the suspension taken care of. Now, the GT Spec fsb I have works great and stiffens the chassis no matter what else you have, but it's not the same as the fsb they make now...

When I talked to the first outfit to make HFCs (can't remember who it was - Berk?), they told me that adding HFCs without catback doesn't really do much. No idea whether or not it's correct, but you'd think they know (especially since they'd prefer to sell the HFCs).
