Anybody have a problem removing nut on bottom of strut assembly?

Anybody have a problem removing this nut? I hit it with PB Blaster and tried using a breaker bar and a weak impact wrench with negative results. I've taken nuts off with that same breaker bar that were torque'd to over 400 ft/lbs with no problems. This bolt is supposed to be only torque'd to 120 ft/lbs.

6 point socket(a good one) + Breaker bar + another pipe to go over the breaker bar that **** will break loose. Don't use constant force to try and break it loose, use like a "bouncing" motion, not literally bouncing but but push back and forth slightly harder each time. If that don't work cut it off and just get a new nut and bolt.

I tried the above method with no luck. Like I've said, I have taken nuts off that were torque'd to over 400 ft/lbs with no problems.

I'm going to just taken it in, I'm too old for this **** and my free time is worth too much .

^ WHS i also have a long hollow steel pipe that fits right over my breaker bar for such situations and "bouncing" motion as described does the trick on almost any and every bolt!

yeah, those nuts/bolts were a PITA. I had a 3/8" breaker bar...let's just say the bolt won that battle. With some anti-seizing lubricants, and bought a nice 1/2in breaker bar, got it right off. I did however, gave the bolt a little pounding with a 4lb hammer just to loosen some intial binding and rust.

I couldn't break it loose either so i let my mechanic install my coilovers because of it. I'm 100% sure they are overtightened either at the factory or dealer. 120ft-lb should've been easy to break loose with a breaker bar or long torque wrench.

^+1 and if Fumanchu was not able to break it loose with a 4ft bar over the breaker bar then either he is very weak (jk ) or the nut is really overtightened and stuck bad which would require some shop rated power tools.
