Just got new TIRE change!!! Awesome price!

Hello everyone. Just changed my tires. After MUCH research I found out the best price is Tire Central in San Gabriel, Ca. I got a set of 2010 Hankook Ventus V4 ES/H105 treadwear 420, W rated for $522 installed everything otd. Falkens 912 is similar price but the treadwear of 360 is low imo. Kuhmo Ecsta LX Platinum is $620 installed with wear of 600. Yeah crazy price eh lol. BTW this aint some crap shop, they have the best equipments from germany, no worry about rims getting scratched up. From American tire co., discount tire, allen, sam's club etc... to tire rack. I gotta to say this place beats them all by a long mile. ALL the big time shops wanted $740-770+ JUST for falkens 912, lets even mention the kuhmo and other models. Just look up the sites man and do the math. The whole thing about TMPS is crap, its just a super tiny module unit mounted unto the inner rim, most place requires a $3.5-7 extra for replacing so called rubber mounts which imo will worsen the unit, its meant to be permanent dont let morans mess with it and pay money for it. If you live in So. Cal go tire cental in San Gabriel. You will thank me for this.

Overall I have to say the Hankook V4ES is not as tight as the stock tires, but its more quiet and got triple the treadwear.

By the way I put 33K miles on the stock bridgestones, yea lol, i dont corner hard too much, mostly just straight accelerations.

Not bad but I can get the superior Falken FK452's for about the same price and the shop is not too far from San Gabriel.

I dont mean to put your post down but if we are trying to get everyone the best deal...I thought I should speak up.

The reviews I've read indicate that the Hankook Ventus V4 are the better tires for the money.

FYI, you cant compare treadwear ratings between 2 different brands/companies of tires. They are only comparable within the same manufacturer.

That all depends on what you're using the tire for. The V4S is an all-season high performance tire. The FK-452 is a summer high performance tire.

I picked up some Vredestein tires for my rear (245/45/18). I haven't mounted them yet. Noticed my front tires are shot. gonna go Vredestein 245/45/18 all around

FK-452 is where its at. picked 2 up 245/40/19 installed for 180 bucks!! ... they were take offs, but had a tread depth of 9/32nds... so pretty much brand new... that beats the 500 bucks i would have spent!
