i finally have the coils installed with 15F/15R for my dampening settings and i couldnt be any happier

the difference in terms of ride comfort comparing the Eibach Prokit on stock shocks and the BC coils is amazing with the coils being a LOT more comfortable. where once i felt nearly every bump on the road, now i dont feel as much. i also feel the handling of the G is much improved as the G seems to have less body roll than with the springs.

soundmike, you should install these ASAP if you havent already b/c u wont regret it

Has anyone gone with the longer springs in the back? And if so, how is the ride with the stiffer rear springs?

I have the longer (230mm) 8k rear springs. Not installed though, but i don't think the extra 20mm will change the ride characteristics much.

I contacted BC and they told me that they could offer me a 260mm spring but its only available in the 12k spring rate. Has anyone gone this route?

Negatore... Myself and another member on this forum are the only ones with the 10k/230mm spring rates in the rear (to my knowledge)that are that high. IMO, I think it rides just right.

Anywho, just for the record I have the coilovers installed since yesterday. I'm still tweaking with the ride height and will post pics once I'm satisfied with the stance.

Before I start posting pics I want to make it clear that I am not a professional photographer. I'm posting pics here to help out other fellow G owners get an idea of how these BC coilovers sit w/ the spring rates that I've posted earlier in this thread.

BEFORE:
Everybody knows how a stock G35 sedan looks like.....

WHEELS INSTALLED:
4x4 Off Road mode

AFTER:

Now she needs a bath and a good wax job.

RaginCajun: Thanks. The ride is actually smooth. it's stiff but not harsh...very practical for everyday driving. Oh and did I mention no more body roll is lovely? well it's lovely

BloNdine: Thank you sir from Texas Lol and no that is not the lowest it goes. As a matter of fact, I had to raise it up a bit today due to my catalytic converters will not clear certain bumps, reflectors, etc on the roadway or private drives. It is sad how the cats and the flex pipes sits lower than the frame.

Id love to go that low but with my G being a grocery getter for the wife also, Im not sure it would be the best decision. Are you gonna correct the camber issue?
