Replaced front shock absorbers on G35x
Replaced front shock absorbers on G35x
My front left strut became wet some time ago (47K miles) and I changed both struts. Part numbers of the new struts are different than stock but they are "replace code" numbers.
The car now is a little bit softer and more predictable at higher speed, so I'm pleased with the change.
The problem is that the front gap between the wheel and fender is wider now, but the rear gap, of course, remained the same:

I know, that all G35x have different gaps in the front (wider) and rear, but not that much, doesn't they?
So, do I need to increase the gap in the rear (by changing the rear struts, btw they got "replace code" too)? Will it affect ride controlability? Or leave it as it is now?

That looks totally normal to me,,, did you measure your gaps before changing struts? that wouldv'e been the only way to really tell if any ride height diffs. happend,, for some reason guys have a hard time factoring in the diff height cuts of the wheel arches, imo, if the jack points are approx. the same, then the car is level. my car was level before i lowerd it, and level after i lowerd it,, btw.. i also have Ultraleggera's with Kuhmo's beautifull setup!!!!
