Continental ExtremeContact DWS

Please let me know if I can put 255/35/20 DWS on a 20" x 9" rim. I heard that they tend to run a little wide so I did not know if I should get 245/35/20. Also, the sidewalls seem to be soft is this an okay tire to use on a 20" rim? Thank you for the feedback.

I just purchased 245/35/20>8.5 for my fronts and 275/30/20>9.5 rears... I am just waiting on them to arrive through Discount Tire so I can mount my rims... I will let you know what I think after install..

I liked these tires on my 08 GTI V- V-DUB... I had 235/35/19's and they were very exceptional

I'm curious how you like them? I just put these on as winter approaches and I needed to replace my summer Bridg RE050 with something that can handle light snow, but I hate these Conti DWS so much that I don't think these will make it to the winter. The cornering with these tires is terrible! The sidewalls are so soft and the tracking at highway speeds feels quite literally like I'm driving my grandma's '95 buick continental. right after I got these, I took an exit on a 35mph off ramp and while going 45mph (which should be nothing in a G35 Sport Package) my back end started sliding around and the VDC started freaking out so much that I had to aggressively brake to 35mph. Even after about 500 miles, though it is a little better, I still can't corner even remotely as good.

These are Probably the worst tires that i've ever purchased.

I have had mine on now for only about 1000 miles so far. I haven't had any issue with them so far. They are a hard tire, but that is just them being a all-season tire.

In the past rain storm we had here in Dallas, I was cornering turn on the turnpike at 80-100 like it was nothing. I didn't have any concerns. It is still early and will check back periodically.
