BBK question

Does a 13" BBK exist for 2nd gen? I only seem to find 14" ones.

I think the reason for that is that the "S", for one, already comes with 13" rotors. I don't think anyone has developed a caliper to fit over those yet. SSBC is usually one of the first to come out with one but haven't seen them yet.

It's difficult for some of these companies to develop one to fit over the 13" rotors mainly because there are a lot of other options out there, and normally people size up.

Finally found one. Rotora makes a 13" BBk for our cars.

Rotora and Stoptech make for our cars, but:

Is there any reason why you want the smaller size rotor?

The cost of a rotora/stoptech 13" front brake kit is probably what you can get the akebono 14" front and rear coupe kit for.

Because I have 17" winter wheels. If I go 14" I can't use them. 13" BBK is still no guarantee they would fit, but my chances are greater they will than not. Just have to hunt down wheel templates from Rotota and Stoptech to be certain

the money you save by going with the akebono can be used to buy a larger set of dedicated winter wheels... plus you can sell the 1s to make up some of the cost as well.
