sway bars

hey guys I wanted to see if you guys had any opinions on this, I was talking with a guy at work that has been modding BMW's for awhile. He explained to me that changing the sway bars on the car is a small cost mod that really improves the control around turns. I am thinking of getting the Edelbrock Sway Bars for G35X sedan 2007.

any thoughts??

Correct me if I am wrong but I do not believe any company currently manufactures sway bars for the X.

No1 makes a complete kit yet 4 the X, but u can use any rear sway from the a/m kits if u want.

Most people just get the OEM RWD rear sway 4 the X.

actually I did mean edelbrock I was just giving an example of a company, but I never heard of eibach. But I am glad that it was brought up because now I have a new company to look into. After doing a little research I found that Stillen has one, I don't know how you guys feel about them, but I was told they are the go to company if you trying to protect the warrenty of the car. Does any one have performance sway bars on their car?

While on the topic of sways, how many of you have installed aftermarket ones on a Sport model? is there a noticible difference?

Do a search for Hotchkis. There is a great thread that goes over the bar sizes, awd/rwd, etc. I learned a ton and am in the process of installing.

I installed Eibach adjustable Sways onto my Sport model. However, at the same time I installed KW3 coilovers. Soo, the car definitely feels like a whole new machine, there is NO ROLL whatsoever. It hugs the corners really well. And, I can take the same turn I used to take at 45 at 65 (maybe more) haha.

Installing AM sways on the stock S suspension will degrade ride quality, especially on bumpy or uneven roads. If you're not used to that kind of ride, you may not like it.

I had the sways on first before I installed the other parts, and there was a noticeable change in ride quality. It really didn't bother me, as my previous car had full suspension.

Ok that answers the sport question but how about the sedan X model that's what I am looking for. Even though this is easy install I may go to a performance dealer if no one can give advice on what to get.
