I haven't tried installing it yet, but will report back once I do.
Did the box have the correct part number? I hope they didn't send you the 2003-2006 G35 strut bar. I noticed their website pictures do not have the three holes on that model. Who knows though, maybe it was just an early production model.

"Alutec" badge removal: this is no different from debadging emblems. Heat with heat gun or hair dryer. Use tooth floss to separate the badge. Clean adhesive residue with Goo-Gone.

Just wanted to show a pic with my Stillen Gen3 CAI. There are no fitment issues, aside from that black **** that Soundmike mentioned which is touching the bar. Really, I can't see this strut bar posing a problem for any aftermarket intake. Edit: aftermarket intakes need to be closely examined for possible contact between proximal pipe and angle of the strut bar.

Thanks again Soundmike for introducing this strut bar and the awesome review!

Sweet! Thanks for posting that. That's very good to know! I was going by posts over on MyG37 that it didn't work with the stillen. Now we know better

Looking at picture of the Injen CAI, their proximal pipe actually flares out more and sits higher than the Stillen does. This probably has the pipe in contact with the bar at the same point as the black **** but at the front of the bar instead of the back. I knew looking at Soundmike's pics that my Stillen would probably work.

If you have a solid pipe aftermarket intake, I would look at your setup and compare with pictures very carefully before buying the Alutec.

^ yes i will be doing that for sure, just have to commit some money aside for this first, then i will take soundmikes generous offer and ask him to measure the distance between the bars curve and the stock intake tube near the TB and then make my decision since i have the R2C which has the straighter pipes unlike the stillen which curves down.

Not sure why the FST-037C-AT was deactivated. I would call FRSports to find out why. That is the one we all got. I noticed it is available on ebay but that too says coupe only.

chat I just had from FRSSports

-Thank you for contacting us. An operator will be with you shortly...
- Ryan: Hi, I was wondering what happened to part FST-037C-AT is ALT-IG102 an identical replacement?
- Operator Mike joined the chat
- Mike: let me take a look
- Mike: yes it is
- Ryan: I know people have been running FST-037C-AT on the g35 HR sedan (07/08) and the ALT-IG102 says coupe only
- Ryan: but if it's identical I know it'll fit
- Mike: alutec
- Mike: use to make the strut bar for cs
- Ryan: ah so its just the label change then?
- Mike: i do believe so

Just got one installed. Got it from ebay for $169 delivered. I prefer this design to the other brand based on the fact that I don't have to install cards with it and the fact that it is a solid piece.

I know it's a huge link but this is the available auction. I got mine in 3 days and it was exactly what I wanted.
