Hi all,

Does anyone know of any knock offs that exist of the Enkei design? Or maybe anything similar? Finding a set is difficult and pricey so I'm willing to go for a similar look.

They are cheaper because they are weaker, you should be able to find a used set with tires for about 1200 bucks or less. It took me a while to find mine, just keep looking!!

Sport edition has a model that looks identical. However, the quality is no where near the same. I have it in 18" rim size for use as my winter wheels. No way would I use these as my main set--you are much better off with the real G37S rims. Just keep looking. People change wheels all the time and you will see a set pop up every now and then. They definitely look great on the sedan!

Quality? Might be a difference. But the G37 coupe wheels are cast. Not really a big standard to achieve IMHO.

Even among cast wheels, there is a big difference in quality. The sport edition paint scratches easily, the metal dings almost with minimal impacts, the edge lines are not crisp, and the center cap is so cheap, so ugly, and there are no replacements for it. Both my OE G35 Sport and M45 Sport rims are miles better in quality.

man those look good. You should get a front plate flipper thing though. The tag is in the way of that beautiful sport bumper.

If there were replicas of the OEM forged 19s, 350Z forged 19s, Nismos or track forged 18s, I'd probably mention the quality differences inbtween a replica cast and the oem forged.

But cast vs cast I'm not to worried about it. Although I'd agree with you about quality differences inbetween cast (Enkei is a great oem wheel maker), I'm more concerned about the diff in weight/strength in a forged vs cast comparison. But again, I see your point.

I hear you on the quality issue but I'm just doing every day short haul driving to the office. I'm not really pushing the car and won't be equipping the car for the track. So how important is quality? Is it the ability to for them to stand up to crappy roads (ie: pot holes)? What are the hallmarks of a crap wheel?
