G35X shocks upgrade

After having driven my 2007 G35X for a while I plan to upgrade the sway bars and add a strut bar as well. While I am generally pleased with the suspension, when pressed hard, the rear of the car seems to float a bit, and I have also noticed that it seems to be very slightly underdamped on the rebound cycle which gives it a somewhat choppy ride on some surfaces. I know from searches that there are no aftermarket shock sets for the G35x. I have no desire to lower the car so coilovers aren't an option. So to fine tune the rear suspension on the car, I wondered what options might be available. Since the rear sway bar from the 2wd model fits the G35x, this leads me to think the rear shocks might be the same. Are there any rear shocks from the 2WD that will work on the G35x, especially an adjustable shock? Is the G37XS shock and different from the G35X shock as a possible upgrade?

KYB makes GR-2s but they're more of an OE replacement as opposed to an upgrade... I'm in the same boat as you but I did want to lower the car. My C/O's just showed up today!!
