07 G35 Sport Sedan Brakes are Killing me!!

So I used to frequent these boards much more when I first got the car.

Only problem I've had is the brake shudder usually at freeway speeds.

I've looked through these threads all over the internet spoken to mechanics.. .

So far what I have tried.

1) Had the rotors turned. This fixed the problem for a few days( about a week) then eventually the shudder came back.

2) Months later and fed up. Replaced the rotors entirely, and threw on some ceramic pads. Felt ok for a few days (about a week). . . now I'm back to square one.

I'm really looking for anything here now fellas. .. anything you could throw my way. . .I love my car aside from the shudder and I want to get back to loving it 100% I'm almost to 80K!

does it shudder when you apply the brake? maybe check the balance on the wheels, not just the cheapo balance. A road force balance when they load the wheel.

maybe one of the pistons is bad causing uneven pad pressure???

Yeah only when I apply the brake. I considered uneven pad pressure. .. but I mean how can you test for that? My pads and even rotors look to have even wear

Have you been using a torque wrench to tighten the lug nuts?

I'll be honest the first time I had the rotors turned no I didn't . .. but rather "free handed it"

Second time with new rotors and new pads . .yeah I used a torque wrench and the star pattern for tightening. . . so no I don't think its that. . .

+1 to that, while you are at it might as well swap out for fresh brake fluid. brake fluid when it starts to break down will let air into your hydraulic line in as early as months. the air in your lines could cause the shuddering b/c you are not getting even pressure. I would definitely swap out the brake fluid. how old is it? don't to by what it looks like. go by age. put some high temp dot 5 in that bish.

^^ what he said... Infiniti will install some splash shields on the hubs to keep water from splashing up and warping your rotors as easily... im at 57k. replaced my front pads at 25% life with EBC red stuff and did not resurface the rotors. i have no vibrations.
