Thoughts on 19x8.5 et41 and 19x9.5 et49?

A friend of a friend is selling a set of HREs for a really good deal, but I don't know what to make of the fitment. My '08 S is currently on stock suspension but I would most likely be lowering it with a set of KW V3s.

Any thoughts on the fitment?

19x8.5 et41 shod with 225/35 and 19x9.5 et49 shod with 265/35.

By ET if you're refering to the offset those wheels won't work without fat spacers which aren't a good idea. Shop around and find wheels with no more than 24 and closer to single figures especially if you intend to do the wheel-tuck thing.

Thanks for the prompt feedback Gary! That was my initial suspicion as well.

I don't think they will be that bad. And they'll def work w/o spacers but will be a little tucked. If you want an aggressive fitment then go in the 20's for offset. Here is a member's car running 10's in the back with a +48 and the fronts are a 8.5 with a +37 I believe.

Compared to your OEM sport wheels/tires:

Front:
When speedometer reads 60mph actual speed will be 56.3mph: 6.2% slower.

Suspension: 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM)
Fenders: Package will stick out 4 mm (0.2'') farther. Acceptable for most cars.
Wheel wells: 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM)

Rear:
When speedometer reads 60mph actual speed will be 59.3mph: 1.2% slower.

Suspension: Package is 9 mm (0.4'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Acceptable for most cars.
Fenders: Package will stick out 11 mm (0.4'') farther. Acceptable for most cars.
Wheel wells: 100% clear (leaves even more room than OEM)

Flushness-wise, you'll come out slightly better than the OEM set-up. If anything, you should be more concerned about how short that front tire is. If you drop it, the tire/wheel will tuck-in further depending on your camber settings.
