350Z suspension on a 08 G35

I have searched on this topic and haven't been able to find a proper answer.

I have my Tein S-tech Springs from my 350Z and I was curious if anyone knows if i could use them on a 08 G35S without any issues. I know you can use them on the 03-06 G35 without any issues. It would just be nice to throw my old springs on without buying new ones.

I aslo have a set of BC Racing coilovers on my Z that i was thinking of throwing on the G. Im not sure if it would work or not. I have a call into BC to see if they are basicly the same set-up.

Any help or insight will be appreciated.

Thanks

why dont you just sell your springs and coils and buy something that is meant for your car. you drive a 40k dollar car not a Civic.

Do it right the first time instead of over and over again.

Because i believe it is actually the same parts. So i dont want to sell what I have to buy the same thing that is just labeled for a different car.

I have done the suspension on my 03 Z, 04 G, and 09 G many many times, and I can tell you the overall suspension is different so you CANNOT use the same coilovers. The way the 2nd gen suspension mounts is different on the front (the control arms are different and the lower shock mount is different).

The springs can likely be used. They will fit anyway, but like using the 350Z suspension on a 1st gen G, the rear will be much lower than the front (and even more so on the 2nd gen G). Unfortunately, as the G continues to gain weight, it makes it harder to share OEM shocks/springs with the Z.

The springs will fit, but the drop might be really aggressive or uneven.

I believe H&R uses the same springs for the 03-06 G sedan for the 07+ as well.

The rear will be to bouncy, you can install any sprigs from first gen sedan, coupe or 350z but the shocks themselves i don't think so. Since you have rwd the 350z springs should be an even drop unlike the awd it wouldn't be even.
