No brake pad change DIY??

Im sure its here somewhere. Ive searched but can't find it... is there a brake pad change DIY for our cars on here? Mines an 07 Sedan.

Any recommended pads to go with at a good price?

Search and you will find many threads on various pads and there pros and cons too many for me to list, but im a huge ceramic pads fan cause of the reduced dust and 0 noise and good bite. I got pads from R1Concept and they have been great so far.

As for changing the brakes they are SUPER easy on these cars. do at your own risk.
1) jack up car, put on stands, take wheel off
2) turn steering towards the side you are working on
3) Look at the rear bottom half of the caliper and you will see a small circular rubber plug hiding the hex bolt that needs to be opened to swivel the caliper open.
4) Using the correct size hex key open bolt(search for size or you can figure it out when your doing it)
5) Swivel the caliper upwards, remove spring wires that push out the pads(cant remember if this needs to be done before pulling caliper upwards but you'll know when you see it.)
6) Pop hood, open brake reservoir cap and put a cloth around it to avoid any spillage to get on the paint then using a C-clamp or special piston pusher tool, push back the piston within the caliper
7) apply brake lube to back of the pads and the caliper.
8) insert new pads and springs pull back the caliper and youre done!

if there isnt one on g35driver, its probably because there are several other good ones out there. google search will find you many sources and the process is pretty basic. My dad showed me once wehn i was 15 and have never forgotten since.
