I was looking through a few threads on my particular BC coils to see if anyone else posted on this but I haven't come across it.

I currently have the BC coils on my 08X with the original rear shocks (not the redesigned ones) and whenever it's cold(< 55) it seems to have a knocking sound. It can be the smallest imperfection on the road and I would hear it coming from the rear of my car after I run over it.

The setup in the rear is set on the highest height possible on the 8k springs /w dampening set from the soft side 12 clicks. I leave nothing in my trunk so there's nothing rolling around.

Is this a normal issue? should this be or will it be covered under warrenty? For those who have had the original rear shocks, did you pay to have the rear replaced with the new redesigned version? I also saw some rust from the front springs, I'm assuming that should be covered under warrenty.

Note: I purchased this set brand new back in early-mid 2010.
