when to get alignment after drop

So exactly when do you get an alignment after you've lowered the car? I've seen anything from immediately (same day), to an unspecified number of miles until the spring settles. So which is? I drive the car only on the wekends, so saying wait a week is not the same as someone driving theirs everyday. is there a mileage number recommendation?

within a couple of days, its about allowing the weight of the car to settle the springs, either way the difference wont be much.

i waited a couple weeks and i didnt drive it daily most on the weekends also i was on my OEM wheels so i wasnt worried about my tires

I would give it time for the springs to settle cause when they do they will adjust the height of your ride which would essentially be lowering or raising your height meaning an alignment

For brand new springs, drive around for a couple hundred miles at least.
