Putting 19" Maya wheels from my IS350 onto my G. Tire sizes??

hey guys i have a set of 19" maya's made for my old lexus is350. I don't know what the offsets were but it was 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 staggered. On my IS I ran 245/35 and 275/30. The tires weren't stretched. I want to put the same wheels on my G with a little bit of stretch and maybe a spacer. Anyone have any recommendations based off of this info?

thanks man, will this be safe enough to drive hard? i am lowered on H&R springs. how long will the tires last usually when you run stretched? i've seen your white v36--it's great!

This really isn't much of a stretch but it's more stretched than what you had. They'll be a little less than square. Also that car isn't mine I just pulled the pics from the Varrs website. So to give you an idea that car is running 225's on 9.5" wide fronts and 255 (or 245's) on 10.5" rears. Your tires will wear normal with those sizes. To get some decent stretch you'll need some wider wheels.

Are they hubcentric? Toyota hub bores < Nissan hub bores.

Good call. If those Maya's were built for the IS you'll have to get em opened up.

can you explain? how can i tell if they are hubcentric? I know that where they bolt up there is a small little adapter/spacer type of thing but it doesn't go around the lugs just the around the center area. Also will those tire sizes be perfect with an H&R drop?

That's a hubcentric ring. You'll be fine. You'll just need new ones. The Hub on the Lexus is 60.1 and the G is 66.1. Any tire shop should be able to set you up with them. As for the tires... Either size will be fine. If you want more sidewall and less fender gap go with the 225/45 and 255/40 or if you want the car to be lower to the ground go with the 225/40 and 255/35's

225/45 for the extra ride height and comfort of more sidewall

look here to see what you really like. Those sizes are just my opinion. Most people would probably go 225/40
