I'm going to be selling my car sometime this summer, but for now I need new tires. I drive 50 - 75 miles a day and need to be safe. My current OEM tires are shot.

I have a 2008 G35s 6MT with standard 18's staggered.

Anyone suggest a good cheap tire I can buy? i need to get some in the next couple of weeks. Heck I'd get some decent used ones if I could, but I don't know if that is an option.

Get the Continental DWs. Those are good tires for the price. Good ride quality.

You could try pricing a set of the Bridgestone RE760 Sports. They seem to get pretty good reviews and are reasonably priced at Costco and the like.



BTW shaggy, didn't you just pick up your car less than 6 months ago. Just curious why are you deciding too sell?

Go with Kumho...tires are good quality and best buy overall for our motor cars...very pleased with the ones I purchased...my vehicle is the same as yours...not sure you will find inexpensive tires that are quality. I have the Ecsta LX Platinum series.

yes I did just get it 6 months ago. I LOVE the car just with my commute everyday I've decided to go greener and get a hybrid. Prob the Lexus. 45mpg vs 25mpg will be good for me. Plus I have a sports car to play in when I feel the need.

 

That is a good price! They (6mt sport) are hard to find around here (Central TX), esp from private sellers.
