pls help with coils

right now im just trying to understand the process of putting them on, but i wont be attempting the install until January.

i want it at max height when i install it, so do i need to adjust the part circled in red? not really sure what that would do, just make the springs harder i guess? (i already have the other adjustable areas at maximum height)

also, for those with BC coils, how much should i lower the front to make it even with the rear when its maxed out?

thanks!

You're only going to adjust preload via the two collars you circled. I don't know if they're set from the factory by BC or you need to do them yourself, but it won't hurt for you to check that.

If they're already set from the factory, all you're going to do is set the height via the bottom collar and you're done.

Thanks, how do I make sure they're both at the same preload, should I measure it or something?

i finally got around to the install today, very straightforward if you are good at car stuff lol but it took me a good 4-5 hours :P but anyway i decided not to use the spacer for the rear, so at max height without the space there is about 1.5 finger gap rear and max in front is 2 finger gap i did measure before and after so if anybody want to know just lemme know but for now im too lazy... ...about to go test drive on 1 click from soft hehe

After driving about 50 miles my rear is now sitting at 0 finger gap and the front is a 1 finger gap, I will measure it at the end of the week when I go in for alignment
