Thoughts on this brake setup (R1)
^ im glad it helped! im pretty sure you'll be happy. I have been happy with this companies quality stuff and the customer service by Dee Long is always awesome, just to give you some perspective, i now have R1 premium rotors on all my family cars: FX35, TL-S, & the G35 and its all been worth the money!
Hope it all works out for you and make sure you follow the bed-in process even if the pads are scorched you want to do the bed-in process on the new rotors to help the pads and rotors mate properly and avoid any uneven pad material transfer onto the rotors causing judder and vibrations when braking

^^ Hey kool, sorry, but I gotta disagree with you on one small point there. The bed-in process is actually TO TRANSFER a even layer of brake pad material to the rotors. Pad material transfer will always occur, but it's an uneven and random pad transfer pattern than you want to avoid during initial usage. The friction strength (and hence pad grip) actually goes up significantly once the rotors get a nice even coating on them.

ill edit itas you see after the bed-in process the rotors change color a bit onc ethe pad material is transferred evenly, sorry for the confusion and good point clarifying it!
