Possible issue with fitament on fronts with 18x9.5 et35

I am looking at these wheels for a g35X sedan that will be lowered on Eibach pro kits and after searching I was really surprised to read a few posts stating there would be issues on the fronts. But I also read a few other posts where wider wheels and a reasonable amount of offset should not be a concern.

I have 18x9.5 +38, or pushed 3mm more than that. With 255/45/18s and camber back on the lower end of the OEM specs, there's room to spare. I'm dropped roughly the same as Eibach's.

With more aggressive offsets, there's a lot more room to spare.

Here are some pics from before the camber kits.

Disclaimer. With the Eibach sways, there was very slight 1-2mm wide rubbing between the inner wheel lip and the protruding portion of the elbow on the sway when the wheel is at full lock to the right.

It turns out the seller bought the car with the wheels on already and did not exactly what they were so just measured width with a tape. Checked out the stamping and they are 18 by 8.5 actually. That's good for me.
