Since the banjo bolt has to go in a particular orientation, the hose is forced to kink like that. If you loosen that nut, and untwist the hose all the way AND THEN A BIT MORE than it wants (and hold it there), when you tighten it up again and it gives it that final twist, you will likely be able to have it cinch up in a more relaxed position. It takes a little finesse, but it's totally doable.

Well, it's certainly your call, but I'd take a good assessment of how far that line goes back until it's next junction. I know some are really short and easy to get at, but some of them can go clear up to the engine bay before the next coupling and be a major hassle to replace.(Hopefully, that's not the case here) Also, at this point you only have one coupling that's giving you grief. If you replace the entire hose, you're potentially introducing another point of concern that hadn't been involved previously.

In any case, you're gonna need to get access to a good dealer for parts help. I found an old copy of a page I had a dealer print for me which showed the hardline (Model V36 "Brake Piping and Control" section (462- -A 02) ), but I can't make out the part numbers on it (sorry). Hopefully if they find it, it won't be a 'back ordered to Japan' situation like the simple caliper rebuild kit I tried to order was.
Yeah I hear you! I will try re-twisting that line like you said. I did had it in allright position but since that leak I had to re-tighten all lines on that side before I found out where it was leaking.

Anyway I found the part number at infinitipartsusa.com They are finally having part numbers shown there. Very nice!
the part number is 46211JL40A and seems like that's the whole brake line. When I say whole, this one starts front where you have to remove the clip at the wheel-house wall that holds the OEM brake line to the bracket, if you know what i mean. it's only $36 dollars. I get all the additional lines but for that price it's not too bad.

I'm not sure that's the hardline. I googled it and found this pic:

http://www.everythingnissan.com/Item...767-878216.htm (item #10)

Clearly it's for a Nissan, but the brake caliper is the same and that sure looks like a banjo bolt connection on one end of it.

Here's an aftermarket equivalent part that crosses to that number:

Look back at the part number in the EDIT I did to my last post.

Here what I found at infiniti for this part number 46211-JL40A

Number 8 in that picture in this link below is the only brake line that shows up for our Gs Now too detailed, but Im sure at infiniti they see this picture with many more parts. Like for Ex. in the second link below.

http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/Item...054-197939.htm

46246 is a partial part number for the hard line that I need, but I don't know if that's a partial number or the actual full number for the actual hard line that I need. I found more info in here ( link below ) in the second picture from top... that's for 370z which is same brakes as our Gs.

^^ That hose probably looks a lot like this Dorman piece: https://www.carpartsdiscount.com/aut...ml?3593=254155

It's not just the hardline.

From some of the reading in those two threads I linked before, it seems that there's a few ways folks can get around the whole brake line issue with the G37 BBK upgrade. Some replace the entire line with a SS hose type that skips the whole junction block and hardline issue altogether, some replace just the lower segment from the block to the caliper. At this point, you just need the hardline replaced though.

Yeah, that's just like the page I have a printout of, only that's for the Z.

I'm positive that's a partial number. In post#22 of that link I gave before, the guy is installing the BBK into his M and he references them like this:
...
9.Right front brake line tube(1) 46245-JK60B

10.Left front brake line tube (1) 46246-JK60B
...

which seems like a much more likely part number. Like I said though, you could really use the help of a good parts guy.

EDIT: It looks like dimsler listed the same numbers in the other thread I posted too, and that was specifically for G37 BBK onto a V36 G35.
https://g35driver.com/forums/6357793-post4.html

When I goggle those numbers, they all come up as "tubes" and NOT hoses; that's key! Plus, they are apparently very cheap too.

Yeahh I've already contacted Phil on here about this, he's the Infiniti parts guy on here. But he might not get back to me until monday or tuesday. I need this asap!

Anyway bro I found this part number at Nissan catalog, that's the part number for sure. it's 46246-Z34003

Im pretty sure the part is same as Infinti, but for some reason the part # isn't matching

And yes 46246-JK60B that one guys listed, gotta be the part number that Infiniti uses for that hard brake line I need. I just looked it up and Nissan calls that part the same name, and price wise it's same as well.

Alright VQSMILE I think we got it bro!

Im 100% sure that the part number I need is 46246-JK60B.
It's cheap too, just hope it's in stock at my dealership or from where my dealership orders.

Anyway I really appreciate your help. Wouldn't have gotten it that fast without your help.

EDIT: Also just did a search and that part number works for Nissan and Infiniti. Same part.

Well, just so you know, IF YOU REALLY NEED IT IN A HURRY . . .

there's nothing particularly special about the dealer parts. You can see if anyone (Napa, Dorman, Beck Arnly, Oreilly's, etc.) can supply an equivalent part. Short of that, you can a very easily buy a flare kit at the hardware store (Harbor Freight, Home Depot, Sears) and then pick up a short length of tubing at an auto parts store for yourself and bend up one to suit. It's a bit more work, but it's really not difficult. In the end, it will be cheaper to wait for the dealer parts if the are really only 5 or 6 bucks each. Good luck with whatever you decide to do man.

This is really old school stuff. Lots of guys rebuild the brakes on their hot rods. Nowadays, much like with exhaust fabrication, you can pick up all sorts of pre-made pieces in addition to basic stock, as well as all the necessary tools. If you check on youtube you can find lots of examples.

here is just a quick crappy phone shot. Installed my rear wheels on. Everything looks good. Anyway I'll try and take some nice pictures later. Didn't have time yet. And I'll update on the fix on the issues I've had.

Love my new aggressive stance. 5mm wider all the way around then before.

Moved my 10mm Project Kics spacers in the back and got 15mm OneEighty Spacers for the front. Bought these directly from 180 for $100 shipped!!! For $100 that's a BARGAIN!!!!
