Winter wheel setup

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a set of winter wheels/tires for my 07 G35. Mine is a Journey, but it has the optional 18s from the Sport model. I assume, however, the brakes are not the larger one of the real Sport model. So I found someone selling a set of Sport Edition f9 wheels that they had on an 08 Infiniti M35. 17x7.5, +42 offset, good tires on it in 235-50r17 (I know a little small in diameter). From a quick search, it appears the M35 shares hub bore size with the G35. If I search Tire Rack, they say this wheel doesn't fit a G35, but I'm thinking it's just because they are discontinuing it (it's being sold as closeout) and it isn't in exactly the size here (it also says it wouldn't fit an M35, so my hunch is they have very limited range available). Is is safe to say that as long as the bolts and hub bore are right, and it's a fairly normal looking 17 rim, that it should fit? Am I missing any variables? I didn't see anyone on here actually having this particular wheel, but obviously Tire Rack sells plenty of other Sport Edition 17s for G35s. Thanks a lot!!
