Burning smell and major heat on one rotor

update..so i put the new rotors on and pads...that caliper on the side that heats up was very hard to get off...so i went for a ride down the highway and did some break in stops....got home and check the temp..new rotor was 500 deg..other side was 175...So it's not that.
So i then put the old rotor and pads back on that side so i don't damage the new pads/rotors. So now i am trying to find a caliper for my car. That will go in next weekend and will bleed all the brakes as well....car is haunted!
kock on wood the vibrations are still better than before on the highway...nothing makes sense with this car..it truly is pretty funny

Yes and no not really..the piston still moves..why i am stumped...a caliper really only has 2 moving parts..nothing complex..but something is wrong

replaced the caliper today with a new one and bled the rear brakes...all is fixed and well. No high temps and running very cool now. It was a bad caliper.
Now when i brake at 60+ though the wheel and car shakes..so i need to get the front rotors turned as something up there isn't right but not worried about that for now

Bringing an old thread back to life since I'm having similar issues.
I replaced all four rotors and pads just a few months ago so I'm hoping they're not already warped.
My issue is a vibration while driving (40+ mph) and when braking. The vibration is coming through the steering wheel and the floor.
I brought it to my mechanic earlier today and we both noticed the heat coming from one wheel (passenger front) as well as an abnormal amount of dust on said wheel.
Safe to say this is a seized caliper?
He recommended changing both (front) calipers if I change one.
I'd love some input, thanks!
