Front and rear cameras, tire pressure for all four tires can display on screen, folding side view mir
^^
The TPMS sensors send a RF signal to a receiver and amp behind the glove box that communicates with the ECM. The sensors contain a sealed battery and must send the correct frequency. Each wheel is programmed by the Consult tool. It is well known that non OEM parts do not play nice with Infiniti's.
Good luck

Thank you Telcoman, I understand how they work, and went through SE10001HP reviews on Amazon to see if somebody had success in installing these to work with G35. Also read this thread... So a bit disappointed, however, maybe a newer scan tool, even inexpensive one, may activate these sensors... Hence my question to those folks in this thread who got these sensors already...

Instead of a mechanic, try going to a tire shop. Places like Merchants or Tires Plus will usually program them as a free courtesy service, and will have the proper tools needed. Those sensors are pre-programed, so they should just need to be activated (taken out of dormant mode) then the car can be programmed.

Urbanengineer specifically mentions having these same sensors and they work fine....
I had (1) sensor replaced by Discount Tire though it's confusing which model it is. The receipt reads "VDO 7001HPA 315 REDI". Yes, it indicates "VDO" but "7001HPA" isn't the right part for my car (it works though). Another manufacturer, Dill, does have a TPMS with p/n "7001HP" though. "REDI" is used by multiple manufacturers.
Anyway, it doesn't help you right now, but I have (3) SE1001HP ordered and on the way. I'm going to have Sam's Club install them and we'll see how it goes.

I'd be surprised if they're different. It seems as though there are NOT a lot of different sensors. In fact, every 2008 Infiniti uses the same sensor. I'm sure different years do as well. My wife's '14 Ford Fusion uses the same sensor as '08 Infiniti models.
Just checked.... VDO lists the SE1001HP for the coupe as well.
