TPMS receiver - where is it located?

Hi guys,
Hoping someone has dealt with this before and can offer some help. (2007 G35X)
I've been chasing a Tire Pressure Monitoring System issue for a while. Here are the six codes I get when I ground the connector:

15, 16, 17, 18 - are four wheels no signal
22 - RH rear receiver no signal
23 - RH front receiver no signal

OK, so I took the car to a local tire shop and they used their specialty diagnostic tool to read the signal at each wheel. The service guy said that all four wheels were emitting a strong signal, which tells us that I have good batteries in the 4 sensors. The tire shop was unable to diagnose further.

So I have something going on at the right hand side of the car. But where is the antenna receiver (s) located? Is it closer to the axle or is it in the Body Control Module?

The flashing light on the dash is driving me nuts and the dealer will soak me for $175 an hour to maybe find out what is going on. Maybe...they are known to tell folks to throw away old cars like this and buy a new or newer one since they are very short-handed on technicians and want sales.

Any guidance on how I can pinpoint the receiver problem? Do all four of the wheel signals go to the keyless entry module behind the glovebox?

Thanks a big bunch,
Tom

Further update: Today I replaced the TPMS/Keyless entry receiver that is located behind the glove box. (see picture)
This did not help at all - I still get the same six trouble codes as noted above.

Any suggestions anyone?

Go down to a parts house that has an OBD2 scanner that handles C - chassis codes and see what actual codes are being thrown.

Self diagnosis is a pretty broad list of things that might be wrong, pulling the actual codes will narrow it down.

15, 16, 17, 18 means low tire pressure, not "no signal"

22, 23 does mean no signal

Was the tire shop able to initialize and program all 4 sensors?

Is your tire pressure at 35psi?

Did this happen for no discernable reason or did it happen after a visit to the tire shop or rotating tires?

Hi Cleric,

Yes, I have verified 3X that the tire pressures are all above 32 psi. I even tried twice to set them at that '34,31, 29, 26' method and that didn't work.
I had a tire shop read the output value of the sensors and the guy said each tire had a strong signal. He was unable to do anything further.
I replaced the TPMS receiver that is located behind the glovebox....it didn't help at all. Got the same codes afterward.
This whole problem started when I disassembled the car to do the front differential repair. The battery was disconnected, and may wires were moved around.
I feel that something isn't getting the signals from the tires. But i don't know exactly which circuit in the BCM to poke into. the NICO manuals do not go into much detail. If i knew which wire carried the voltage from the BCM to the dash light I could end this problem right away.
Still looking for guidance on what to check next. The flashing light is driving me nuts.

Check section BRC - Braking Controls, that handles all of the VDC/ABS stuff. Section WT - Wheels/Tires will cover the TPMS wiring stuff as well as the wiring diagram.

On the TPMS receiver you should have 12vdc on the violet wire, ground on orange wire, signal will be the blue wire. I'm guessing these are probably fine though and the issue LIKELY is somewhere else on the vehicle.

BMS to instrument cluster for the indicator light is all handled via CANBUS.

I would try swapping the two rear wheels to see if the code changes, at least that will rule out a bad wheel sensor sending wrong data. If your code changes to the left side you know it's a malfunctioning sensor on the wheel itself and not the chassis wiring.

Today I swapped the rear wheels from side to side. Same result. Same six codes being thrown as noted above.

Looking for more ideas on what could be going on.
