gone. the car was in a accident and rebuilt with a oem chrome grille.

thanks for the info! i bought all the stuff to flat black mine on my ip because the stock chrome is trashed after 7 mos! looks sweet!

Great DIY bro, thanks for posting it up. I've changed out my grille a couple of times now and it's pretty straight forward.

The 03 coupe is way easier to get out.

The dupli high gloss paint and the clear coat.. are they spray type as well?

did you find it hard to sand it down? or just fairly easy? and how long did it take to sand it?

fairly easy, just getting in the side twists was the most difficult part.

I used 400 first to get all the chrome plating off then used 800 to smooth it out before priming and painting.

^ok great i will give that a shot this evening. so the entire sanding/priming/painting process...how long did it take you? and how long did you wait to pain inbetween coats of paint/clear coat/primer...etc.

whole process took about 2 hours.. I waited about 15 minutes inbetween light coats. G/L and PM me if you have anymore questions.
