thanks for the post btw! I took every measure in this process and unfortunately the fit was really tight and I wasn't able to fit the 02 sensor in... and I have the berk resonated TP's...
I'm going to take it to the shop I go to and see if we can give it another try...

That's what I was worrying about as well. My SES light came on after Invidia HFC and now I need to do the non faulers. But I was worrying about the whole thing not fitting in.

I drive a new V36 07 G35 sedan though, who knows maybe we have more access then you coupe guys do.

THIS DIY Doesn't really work for 2nd Gen Sedan! ...

I just tried doing this on my G and it really DID NOT work out like I expected. I bought those 18mm Help brand Non-Foulers and drilled a 1/2" wider hole like was described... BUT our O2 Sensors have a wider head then 1/2" so the 1/2 drill bit didn't work at all. We need a wider diameter for the O2 sensor to fit into those. But even if you do drill a wider diameter in those Non-Foulers there isn't much metal being left over around the threads walls, so it gets pretty thin.

So don't know which this DIY is for, our 2nd Gen Sedans or some other, but it doesn't really work.

Now what I did is I still used 1/2" drill bit and just moved it around the walls talking a little bit more then 1/2" overall if you know what I mean. The sensor then did go in but it's pretty tight in there and all the O2 Sensor wholes that take the air in are covered competely apart from the center one.

So I don't know if my light is gonna come back on or not. Don't really know how this will work out. We'll see in a little bit!

BTW guys, My buddy actually was installing Invidia HFCs in his Z at that time and I checked his O2 sensor and theirs fit very nice is this DIY. They are not as fat at the end like ours are. So Im guessing this write up is for the newer G coupe or the Zs.

THIS DIY was not even done for the G! it's on freaking Chevy!

Why delete the thread if it does not help you ?

it worked for me and a lot of other people.

this is stickied for a reason... To help...

If it does not work for you too bad...

rather than being negative why dont you find a solution and post it here ?

ok I did this! These "help" brand non-foulers doesn't fit our O2 sensors! They will actually damage them by trying to fit them though there, sense our Sensors are too fat at the end.

Although I did make this work and drilled an extra 1mm on top of 1/2" in those foulers. And the O2 sensors barely fitted. They are not suppose to bet this tight and block all the sensor holes, or might as well just cover the 02 sensor holes and drive without them.

This mod does not belong in here or at least need to be adjusted. Cause there are actually numerous posts in here as well with ppl saying this does not fit!

Well so why don't you share your story, of how exactly did you do yours???

Yup yup, 2 anti-foulers for each O2 sensor, 4 anti-foulers total
Drill through 2 of the anti-foulers with 1/2 inch drill bit
Screw the drilled anti-foulers into the other undrilled anti-foulers
So you should now have 2 CEL fix anti-foulers for each O2 sensor

Just make sure it's the #42009 anti-fouler packs
2 anti-foulers come in each pack, so you'll have to buy 2 packs

Good luck removing the stock cats!! Haha

And afterwards you'll want to reset the ECU by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 10-30 minutes.

I've already removed and installed Megan res test pipes. It took awhile for the SES light to come on but it has for 3 weeks now. Time for a fix

Bump. I installed the defoulers (2 on each side) and reset the ecu. The CEL remained off for a good 200 miles before coming back on. Luckily for me, I passed inspection before that happened for I had done this fix for that sole purpose. Anyway, is there anything else I can do? I read about the steel wool. Is it worth a try? Thanks.
