Exclamation Maybe Custom DIY is gonna be the best route :(

Ouch, $400 is a little steep for an intake. That's enough to change both stock air filters 10 times! A pair of maf adaptors, 2 cone filters, an a pair of plastic covers, I can't justify $400, maybe half that, all those parts would run you well under $100 if you sourced them yourself. Just a though.

I may end up getting an intake, just waiting until there are more than 2 options, shouldn't be too much longer.

After a couple of days with the Intake installed i cannot say just how much this thing kicks a$$. For all you people who swore that an intake would yield no power...you are wrong. I notice VERY strong gains all the time especially on the highway. I think the intake with exhaust gave me at least 15-20 extra hp. I wont know for sure until i get it dynoed.

I hope someone else gets one installed to back me up

15-20hp @ the wheel or @ crank? Im a bit skeptical on those numbers there. I hope you dyno it and prove me wrong

yeah i would be surprised if you gained 15-20hp from an intake, even with exhaust. I put a CAI on my 2005 G35 Coupe 6mt when I had it, and i didn't feel any gains. There was also a slight whistle noise when initially hitting the throttle. Perhaps the dual intake is different, but most of the coupe people claim that CAI's actually lower their HP... Prove me wrong please...

P.S. Like you, I also have the stillen ehaust, I'd love to hear a driveby video of your car with intake & the exhaust...

Also, how did your spring install work out with the 4WAS? I know I had inquired on this topic a while back. Notice anything abnormal? How low did it drop?

I ordered the Stillen dual intake a couple days ago and had it shipped 2 day fedex. Scheduled delivery is this thursday. I'll probably install it on friday or the following monday.

I don't know if 10-15 is exaggerated but it sure does feel like it. As soon as other people get theirs installed i am sure they will notice the same power gains.

You cant compare an intake you put on ur old 3.5 motor to this one. The dual intake set up breaths more air in and its a dif config. My friend was telling me that on these new cars when you disconnect the battery and install a new intake then connect the battery the computer remaps the MAF??? does this make sense? maybe it breaths more now who knows...

On the drop the 4WAS was not affected at all (thank god). I have not noticed any thing negative whatsoever after installing the Eibachs, i am a satisfied customer

When do you think you will complete your dyno?

I am eager to see the results!
