WeaponR Intake: any thoughts or opinions?

There was some brief discussion on another thread at one talking about the new WeaponR, but the talk fizzled.

Has anybody tried it yet? I don't even know much about WeaponR, has anybody had any past experience with them? I did some searches on the older models and coupes forums, and I could only find one small conversation about it even there, but the feedback on it was good. Made me wonder why it hasn't taken as well as Stillen or Fujita. I'm assuming their quality just isn't as good?

I have no direct experience with Weapon R but if that is the actual shot of the product, I can tell you right now that those silicone hoses are WAY too short.

I installed the Fujita intake over the weekend with little to no problems and their silicone hoses are two to three times longer than the ones pictured.

Alright, i guess i will be the first one to try... recently i won a stillen dual intake on ebay as some of you know but unfortunately the heatshield for the right intake didn't fit, it said on the instruction paper the intake is for a 2007 350Z, now i know that both cars has the same engine but i'm assuming the 350Z has a different set up engine compartment space wise because no matter what i do i could never get that darn heatshield to fit! Grrrrr

Sooo... i contacted the seller regarding the issue and i am now awaiting his reply, if he decides to refund me the money i will be purchasing the weapon R.. sorry to hijack your thread TheIvoryG

Not a problem. I would love to try it just to have something a little different. I literally check it out a once or twice a week, but am just too damn chicken. I hope you get your money back so someone takes the plunge!

I can barely hear them... I guess they do sound similar to Fujita ones...

Can you please post some pix when you get a chance? Thanks.

EDIT: I meant pix from the top and some close up... Sorry I should've been clear about what I said....

Alright here's my opinion on this system, It's a decent intake with poor instructions (one page and 2 pictures) blurry as hell, needs a fixed mounting brakcet to support the pipe, overall the system isn't too bad, the pipe if i'm not mistaken is 3" and this intake is not very loud, maybe slightly louder than stock at around 4 to 5000 rpm..

oh and the intake pipes are way too close to where you plug the hose going to the pcv, it drove me nuts last night

I'll take more pics later...
