Weapon-R secret weapon Intake.A+++

After doing some research and some heavy influence from codeflux's review on the Weapon-R secret weapon intake i decided to try it out for myself. This thing is awesome. It looks good and sounds even better. Install took about an hour between removing the stock peices and bolting up the MAF to the new intake and installing the whole thing. It gives the nice little initial "whistle" when you step on the throttle and once you hit 3500rpm's this thing screams. I would highly recommend this intake to anyone that wants to try something new/different from a z-tube/k&n/popcharger. The "butt" dyno felt a little faster response and some extra kick, but even if it didnt gain or lose anything, the sound alone is worth it!!! I still have to get the heat-sheild from the JWT popcharger to finish it off then comes the MD 5/16" spacer in 2 weeks.

one of weapon-R's authorized dealers. If you're thinking about getting one i'd contact weapon-R directly to get the new 3.5" version, you can only get it upon request. I forgot and ended up getting the 2.5" but am still very happy with it.

I might have to drive on over to Weapon R and have a look. A few of us participated in a Xmas toy give away there, last year.

Here you go.

GP, are you able to purchase the JWT heat shield alone, without the filter? If so, can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hmmm . . . Per their site, they do not appear to have an intake for an Infiniti. Perhaps, I'll try again, later.

I noticed the same thing. On their authorized dealers' sites, I did notice Infiniti G35 models.

Great! I'll take a drive over there this week, hopefully. I like the fact that they can custom build an Air Box, as well. Heat soak from the engine compartment is one of my concerns with this set-up.

No worries. You can get this http://www.prostreetonline.com/buy/w...ories/810-112/

The red part kinda looks like those cone things they put on dogs' heads after surgery to keep from chewing.
