Just finished my customer "sleeper" MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust custom system-

In one weekend, I did my exhaust, installed springs, installed Stillen Intake, and Debadged- and waxed- Here are the pics-

Exhaust is very mellow- no interior noise at highway speeds, but sounds like an older G coupe on acceleration- PERFECT

I also painted the mufflers black, because I like the sleeper look-

Cool Mod man! Any Vids of your Exhaust?? Would Like to hear how your Magnaflows sound like on our G's! How you like the Stillen Intakes? I am thinking of buying them? Do u notice any gains anywhere in the Rev Range? I think will only fell something in the Higer Rev Ranges. But at over $400 for an intake, Is Kinda steep!, for basically coming with a Sheild+Filter+and small MAF Pipe!! But I really want an intake, and not just for Looks. Seems Stillen looks the best for providing a Shield to keep hot underhood air out.

Nice! So what exactly did you change on the exhaust? Mufflers only or pipes and mufflers? What part numbers did you use? Any chance you can post some sound clips/videos? I am interested in making some changes to the exhaust note on my G, but am not willing to lay down the money for the stillen.

I went 2.25" piping from the converters back, starting with a new Y pipe- then I used 2 14" 4" round Magnaflow mufflers for resonators and 2 5x8 14" offset center mufflers for the back with 2 tips- Ill get the part numbers tomorrow-

Im not really sure on how to post sound clips- I have a few files but they say they are too big- I tired to email them to a buddy- same thing too big-

Driving the car with just the exhaust, no intake, it sounds just like an old coupe though- umm anyone in So Cal care to make sound clips for me-

Maybe if someone wants to make soundclips, I could get them a deal on some mufflers as I actually work for MagnaFlow-

What was the stock exhaust ID and OD? Specifically at the flange after the cat.

That looks like the Magnaflow 14829. I did that exact setup on my old Altima SER and loved it.

Very nice mods and very nice pics...love the custom "sleeper" exhaust....although it aint much of a sleeper...if you race a stock 07 G sedan you might pull a 1/4 of a car in front of him...ive raced a couple on the highway with my exhaust and intake and i wasnt like smoking them away. I prefer the stainless steel look from the back...when you got it all cleaned up and shiny they look so sexy.

LOL- I know what you mean about the sleeper- I think it maybe gained a few hp- nothing crazy though- the only reason I didnt go polished stainless is because the car sits in airports quite a bit, so I didnt want to draw too much attention-

Here are the parts I used-

2- 14415s as resonators
2- 12225s as mufflers
2- 35121s as tips
