I wonder how good it is since it is quite expensive. 500 dollars is a lot for an intake. The other thing is that I remember them stating on their website that the extra tubing didn't yield more power and that it just made the extra cost unreasonable. Now they say that the short tube makes 6 whp and that the long tube makes 10whp. I wonder what made them change their minds.

I'm sure there is zero change in the HP/TQ - it is a cosmetic thing.

This is supposed to be about the same thing. The longer tube replaces the whole OEM intake tube instead of just the front part where the sensors are installed.

howwww in the hell is this better now....then the oppesed quoted simple fact which seperated stillen from fujistu was that there was NO NEED to get the whole tube setup. now theres a need. will it really give out more hp?? i have the short intake, and am thinking about getting the long one.

Yup...those dumb design engineers at Infiniti/Nissan deliberately robbed their vehicles of 10 h.p. in a highly competitive market, when all it needed was some pieces of cheap tubing....?

Go figure

I beg to differ, nissan designed this engine really well,if you notice that you dont gain much power with the bolt ons thats available.yeah you gain 6-9 hp,but for $500 cmon you guys are just lookn to blow your money.plus when they got those dyno numbers, the hood is up,and theirs a big fan being used.the numbers wouldnt be that much on the street.if you guys want some real power this engine screams for boost.direct injection, larger flowing heads variable valve timing on intake and exhaust, equal lenth tubular headers, twin intake design, higher flowing cats, and true dual exhaust, this motor is screaming for boost,id wait for the supercharger or if you want to spend more money on a turbo setup.the intake set up is really well on our cars,i ran a 13.65 just with K&N panel filters, automatic.I guarantee you prob wont feel anything, its just not worth the money.

Wait and get the Pop-Charger or Injens. They should be much cheaper with more power gains. Ain't NOWAY I'll shell out 5 bills for some tubings and filters.
