If its a chick style wrench you simply spin handle to desired setting and then use like a regular wratchet. It will click when its at the setting. Engine cover is only 10mm so just snug them up. If you cant find a FSM try Freshalloy.com or Nicoclub.com.

yeah the nico one doesnt load properly. thats the thing. thanks for the info

theres 2 diff lines one the bar.. one says in lbs one says nm... then the handle which turns... has two rows of numbers the top goes from 0 to 18 and for each top number theres a bottom n.m number...

So i assume I just line up the top number i want which i think is the inch thing.. to the line where it says inch lbs?

Does your wrench have a swivel/pivot handle? that is there because you need to make sure that the handle does not touch any side which will distort the reading. make sure the handle is free-floating as you are tightening.

no i dont think so it just look like a normal wrench with a black handle which turns/in situ when u lift a sorta ring just above it.

engine cover, all hardware is 49 in lbs

you must torque the lower plenum in a sequence....and they have to be in steps. do it in order on the first torque of 5 ft lbs or 60 in lbs.... Then go through the sequence again at the second torque of 21 ft lbs or 252 in lbs.

thanks so much for the info. I am actually looking for the torque info for the black plastic area u see pictured in the first picture.. right under the engine cover. theres one bolt hidden by that rubberish pipe u see in the front and theres a corresponding one at the back.

it seems the wrench i bought is only inch pounds and from the info i given above too light weight to do the job.

The major scale is on the shaft.
The minor scale is on the handle.

ie. for 12; go to 10 on the shaft, then continue past until 2 lines up = 12

BTW with inlbs be very careful to NOT blow right past the click... be VERY gentle.

I'll take a look again and see how it works.

ok i think I figured out how it works. U turn it around till it moves up or down along the metal "shaft" to get your main numbers... and you use the number on the handle you are moving up and down itself to supplement and make up the actual numbers you want? So if I am doing 50.... then I should be having 50 on the shaft and 0 on the handle... right?

Can someone tell me the torque specs of the bolts I mentioned? Its actually the plastic plenum thing...not the intake itself. THANKS!!!!!
