Thumbs up

contacting chebesto now. this has got to be one of the biggest advancements in our aftermarket offering thusfar.

i am confused with the intake situation as well. maybe the ecu needed that initial time to adjust to them?

I dont think the ECU likes to adapt to Inferior-than-OEM parts

What about gas mileage?

If/when you get and gas mileage impact that would be nice to know. I'm sure that gaining +44 HP comes at a price when you use it. Not "complaining" either, just wanted to know what impact this CPU mod would have, or what we could expect.

Thanks!!! GREAT POST.

What kind of a dyno is that?

I wonder how many real HP did you gain.

Sucks for me, I think my TS reflash wore off.

It shouldnt affect it that much since he only gained ~10hp. Those are torque vs. hp curves

Besides, my mileage is terrible now - might as well get more HP out of it

looks closer to a gain of 20-22hp?

Awesome gains for just a reflash on a NA car.

I believe I read somewhere that the ECU eventually will "Learn Off" and override the reflash with its own, stock map. Please correct me if im wrong...

the correction.
The ecu can learn and will try to get the engine to run at specific preset points. the re flash changes these points so it won't "learn off" the flash.

i can see where this is coming from because if u mod a stock setup with say an intake. the ecu will try to adapt and get the engine to run with the stock parameters.

changing the parameters with the flash will get different results.

these types of questions can come with VERY technical answers because tuning a car via the ECU IS VERY TECHNICAL.

so if you have questions like this.
Shoot technosquare an email and ull get a good CORRECT answer from the people who KNOW what they are talking about.
