Stillen Exhaust Installed

Purchased a Stillen cat-back exhaust direct about a week ago. It was delivered in perfect condition and installed in just about an hour. Lining up the tips, actually, was the slowest part. I couldn't be happier, it's probably been the best mod I've done. Just what the car needed. I finally can here my car!!!! I've only driven about seventy five miles and suspect It'll loosen up a little more as I drive. Hands down, I think it's makes the car. Very civil, but you get a nice note with an even sweeter downshift. The Stillen system seems to be really well engineered for this sedan. Thanks Kenny ext.185 @ Stllen.

I've been looking at Mynismo.com and the Stillen exhaust. Now when you guys talk about getting the exhaust which part did you change exactly because there are 4 different Stillen Exhaust products:

1) Stillen Cat-Back Exhaust & Components

2) STILLEN Y-Pipe

3) STILLEN Hi-Flow Catalytic Converters

4) STILLEN Race Pipes

Intakes

Any of you guys concerned about the apparent build up of dirt in your engine/oil as a result of the K&N filters (found with the stillen intakes) not being able to filter as well as OEM filters?

Ive been hearing alot about this from the other threads...

any thoughts?

Im wanting to get stillen intakes but im a bit concerned by this.

thx

Hmmm, that would be a concern for me too, as we've always got very dusty weather here =(

my fujita says its a non oiling filter. just clean it and dry it out......i know aem has non oiling filters you can buy and put on the stillen or any other intake that uses a filter that needs oiling. just make sure the inlet is the same diameter and length so it doenst hit the shield.

If I understand you correct, basically, not use the filters the stillen intakes come with? And get something else that is disposable?

I currently have 18K miles with the fujita intake and no dirt at all on the filter. Maybe it's due to my driving condition; however, I plan on just replacing the filters instead of cleaning them.
