I wouldnt put the y pipe back on. I didnt really notice an increase in performance from the mufflers alone. Only when i added the h pipe a month later did i notice a definite improvement in performance.

in your setup on this did they put the H-pipe directly after the flange to the cat or did they chop it shorthly after where the Y-pipe connects?

Mine is after the flange and pretty much the same spot as where the y pipe was.

Back from the dead

hey guys, i was looking at this, and it looks like everyone that has had the custom h-pipe replaced the mufflers...

i want to do the h-pipe and keep the stock mufflers, and replace the stock tips with either TI GT-R tips or Stock GT-R tips.

has anyone done this with stock mufflers?
experts chime in please
