New Injen Cold Air Intake Infiniti G35 Sedan
Also, how much of a pain is it to get to the filters once installed?
Can I reach them by popping the hood, or do I need to crawl underneath?
Maybe I can install my front bumper on hinges and just swing it up whenever I need to get in there.

Well the whole A/F ratio thing is a bit hokey as the MAP/MAS and 02 sensors are what the ECU uses to determine the amount of fuel to inject.
Now, did they tuck those filters down in a nice cold air location, yes and I believe that has more to do with the gains over the other systems out there. That being said, I'll be buying one, not because Injen is keeping my A/F ratio in mind, but because these draw cooler air that the MAP sensor adjust for and makes more power.

And if you mess with anything in the intake or exhaust of a car, your stock "tune" is no longer valid. The only way to fix that problem is to retune your car for the modifications.
In some cars, a intake and filter swap can mess with the sensors enough that you lose power.
The idea of an intake is simple: cooler air, and less restrictions can make more power. But you have to take a few things into consideration: 1. How good is the stock intake. and 2. How sensitive are my sensors and tune.
Bottom line: it seems like an 07 G doesn't have much to gain from an intake swap. But, if you like how it looks and sounds, go for it.

Blueslate had his car there and saw the dyno himself, it made more power.
