This was true with Corsa's, Magnaflows, Flowmasters, etc....

The important thing is the tone isn't annoying you and you're enjoying it!
I thought about that. Maybe I got used to it.. but it really did get quieter. u know why? my girlfriend sat in the car once when it was still loud and she sat in it again the 2nd time when the car was quieter, and she noticed the difference too! Im not crazy after all!

Wes,

Any follow up thoughts? Do you still feel the exhaust drones at all?

Thanks
Gary

Hey Gary - overall, there isnt a drone anymore. It has smoothen out over time. Its good now. There are times when I feel its louder than it should... but for the most part, its good =) Civilized and all, and ready to roar when u want it to.

You looking to get an exhaust?

I have one. It was installed in April. I'm just concerned that I have a defective one or something. My droning is unbearable at times. Stillen are working with me right now. I'll see if it's worth sending back to California or not. Otherwise I'll sell the the system and buy the FI one.

Thanks

I'm in the process of ordering the FI cat-back.
I'm gonna give that a try and then order the HFCs if I want a little more noise

interesting... honestly, I highly doubt that stillen will do anything for you regarding this matter.. I may be wrong, but thats what I think.

I think if the drone bothers you too much, either, sell it and go with F1 or maybe go back to stock and cut your losses?

best of luck with your situation man. I hope it all works out.

I just wanted to say, I heard Wes's Stillen exhaust a few days ago at idle and with him blipping the throttle and it sounded great. I have not been for a test run ,,,,,yet.
It sounded great, loved the sound.
