yes, see, you feel it with an auto as well. which makes me believe it has to do with the map as others have stated. i would bet that 100% of the g35 HRs have this problem but its only felt on the 6mts because we have a direct drive with the clutch, and not a Torq converter to soak up the hickups.

This is very interesting - I have a 6MT and the problem got a lot worse when I had the HFC and Cat-Back installed...
Before the upgrades I took it to the dealer and they told me nothing was wrong with it.
After the up-grades I took it back to the performance shop and they told me I should look into changing the ECU.

Still does it unfortunately, never if i launch from a standstill, but if i start slow and then floor it, time to time, bam power off bam power on.

the car will be going for service soon and the issue will come up again. My favourite response is that my dealer keeps telling me that the ecu flashes are for u.s cars only not canadian. lol somehow i doubt there is any diffence. I will see if they'll do the auto flash on a 6mt yet again, or i'll just take them for a drive and say not to give the car back until its repaired.

i think i have the same problem just pop up =(. it's not terribly noticeable but i can tell. feels like clutch is slipping maybe? but it's only got 45k miles. i don't really launch it hard and hardly turn off vdc. i notice it hesitates around 2800-4300rpm range. i came from vtec, and that's what it feels like, a hesitation and then a surge.

thats what it might be...
we have some thing similar on the intake and exhaust,
intake is oil pressure and exhaust is electronic.

i had the same problem with my AT. what it is is your ecu. ive discussed this several times. if you drive your car in city or slow driving for a while then it reprograms so when your on the highway for example cruising and want to punch it it will bog down first then take off. my solution to get rid of that is to drive it hardER more often then that disapears and if you just touch the pedal it takes off. hope that helps. exact problem i had when racing w.e i would floor it and it just stands there by the time i catch up but now its like bye bye from the start.
