the HFC's sounded good... almost like a 1st gen coupe noise. I ran them with my mufflers removed and there wasn't much difference. All noise diffrences I could tell were on the outside of the car w/ the windows down.

I think most of the sound muffling is in the stock resonators... they're long and packed. so, a perfect scenario might be a custom catback setup utilizing the stock resonators. in hindsight, I probably should've used the stockers with my custom magnaflow deal and put in an H-crossover deal.

This was probably answered already but will the Berk HFC's fit an 08 6MT sedan? (sorry for the stupid question) Does anyone know how it will sound on a stock car? What about when combined with an intake?

earth0,

how does the HFC compare to the stillen cat back you had installed a few months ago in respect to the sound you're getting out of it

Pls.noted this is my opinion after trying both HFC and Stillen Catback SYS.

First of all with Stillen Catback System w/o HFC

- Sound Great!! I like it too!! However you will loosing the quiet from inside carbin. It was too loud for me but from the outside was incredible.AAA+ to Stillen Muffler-Catback.Deeper tone and easily notice of HP Gain.
After 2500rpm you will feels the power. It's well worth it if the inside
carbin noise not bother you.I would recommended if you got 6MT otherwise
My opinion is NO with 5AT (too loud...sound like BOAT when changing gear)
Here this is mine when i had Stillen on youtube.

BERK HFC's with Stock Exhaust and Stock Intake

- Sound Mean! Alittle louder from Stock not like Stillen.Deeper Tone and Deeper RPM noticeable,Sound more like Coupe.
Inside Carbin Noise remain unchange but you will hear and feel the different.Fun to Drive everyday. No dron or Raspy!!
I would recommend it.My concern is the installation was alittle of Technics
you will need to torch the 2 top bolt that attached the HFC's to the Header
It's PITA! Also you need to Torch the O2 Sensor.Becareful!! you don't want to spend extra money so i recommended bring it to autoshop and do it.
I brought it to my friend autoshop paid $90 tips $60 for my appreciation!!
I will try to post VDO Clip soon.Go for it!!! Don't try TestPipe.Smell! and Raspy

First one
Nissan 350Z 03-06, Infiniti G35, Metallic Substrate HFC's

Second one
Nissan 350Z 07-up & Infiniti G37, VQ35HR HFC

Only the second fits our cars.
