08 S MT Sedan - Clutch pedal clicks
Greetings all,
I have a 2008 G35S with the 6MT at about 24k miles. I've been noticing lately that my clutch pedal has been making a clicking sound when pressed and depressed. I had noticed it earlier in the cars life but it was never as pronounced as it is now. Anyone have any thoughts as to what it could be. I did notice the clutch pedal itself not being as smooth, but the dealer said that was just part of the design of the hydraulic clutch or something like that. Only thing that is really bothering me though is the clicking. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Sounds like the same problem. That spring will stick, grind, squeak, and clunk. It's terrible. Just get some lithium grease and apply it.
I've only put about 500 miles on my car since I "fixed" the problem but all good so far. No noises yet and still smooth as butter.
The sigh of relief I had when I took it for a trial run and noticed the car drove 100% better without the clutch resistance was priceless.
