for the 78th time, the codes i am getting are not from the sensors in the HFC, but from the sensors in the header. the sensor was damaged because of the extreme force it took to unbolt my stock converters. the Berk HFC are plug and play, even my mechanic said how easy the job was once my old converters were out..

What are you expecting the dealer to do that your own mechanic won't? If you expect them to cover the damaged sensor under warranty, there's a 99% chance they won't they were damaged when the stock converters were removed.

If you, or your mechanic, damage parts of your car when removing it to install other stuff, that's not covered under the OEM warranty.

Even if the sensor wasn't damaged during removal, it's likely they have a strong argument to deny your warranty claim. As long as you have those aftermarket HFCs on the car, Infiniti Corporate will have no problem backing the dealer if the dealer denies your warranty claim.

took the car to infiniti this morning, told them i had the HFC installed 2-3 months ago, and that the CEL recently came on because of the sensor in the header. they confirmed that it was in fact the sensor in the header, so they replaced it free of charge under warranty

.......so now i'm just enjoying the intoxicating new sound my exhaust makes

I just found this thread. Is there any way we could get sound clips from both inside and outside of the car at various throttle positions?

What I'm looking for is a sound similar to the G35 coupe/FX35. Thanks!

I had these installed a week ago. The sound under 3500 RPM's sounds good pretty close to a coupe but once you go over that or go WOTthe exhaust rattles, I think the tips make noise. I know our system stock does this but the HFC's make more noticeable..
