The 07+ cars have twin/dual intakes whereas the pre 07 cars had single intake and thus benefit from the z-tube found on the same vintage V6 in the Z.

PS: the guy at one of the shops near me said that ram vs. cold doesn't really matter too much, is this true cause i always though cold was better? also, he said cold air intakes, although rarely, can take in water and be damaged if you drive over a really deep puddle, is this true and has it happened to anyone?
