How much is the K&N intake going for? It looks like it's a short ram like the stock intake but with polished/metal pipes.

stillen is #2?!?! Then why won't anyone buy mine for $220 with only 1 week drive time on it? I think JWT needs to be added to the poll....

I don't think the z-tube is an option for the 07+ sedans.
The 07+ cars have twin/dual intakes whereas the pre 07 cars had single intake and thus benefit from the z-tube found on the same vintage V6 in the Z.

Anyone, please correct me if I am wrong.

That was a post from a long time ago as far as my understanding of after market parts for this car.

The z-tube is not an option.

I am interested in R2C's intake and maybe the Stillen G3.

What are you talking about??? RETRO ZTUBE!!! There is no more Ztube for our 2nd GEN!!! Don't waste your money!!! I f you can afford Stillen 3rd GEN or Injen Cai. Go for it.Otherwise stay Stock...They are best designed!!!!

So, taking into account increased hp and tq along with better intake sound and safety, what is the best?

PS: the guy at one of the shops near me said that ram vs. cold doesn't really matter too much, is this true cause i always though cold was better? also, he said cold air intakes, although rarely, can take in water and be damaged if you drive over a really deep puddle, is this true and has it happened to anyone?
so which intake did you end up getting? And are you happy with it. I have an 08 G35 and I am in the process of doing mods.

+1 for the R2C. Well built, sounds good, and slight gains over stock. After all, its an intake, nobody is expecting crazy HP gains out of it.

I love the sound of the full length CAI but worried about water or filters getting too dirty:
