Just Installed FI HFC's on my 08 sedan.

Hey guys,

Just installed my Fast Intentions HFC's on my sedan w/stock exhaust.

Install took about 2 hours and the car was on a lift.

First Impressions:

Really really RASPY for the first 30mins or so.... THEN...
As if out of nowhere the CATS started to sound differently, smoother, and they definitely sound like a G35 coupe. I even put it up on the lift again and reved it to make sure there were no leaks or anything like that...

Is there a break-in period for these Ceramic cats???

Ok, now the other thing I noticed... The Idle on my car is a little rougher. It fluctuates a little if barely any.

I reset the ECU, did everything, but at idle i can tell that the Cats have definitely done something, via it be good or bad. Maybe I need a tune after I install my intake????

Anyhow, I really like the FI Cats and they seem to be breaking in and producing a better sound as I drive more and more.

Has anyone else had the idling problem? Could you tell a small difference in your idle?

Thanks everyone,
DRes

Never had any idle issues after installing my Invidia HFC's.
I think it is an unrelated issue. I've seen hundreds of HFC/TP posts and this is the first time I hear of this issue.
